About SteriAus
SteriAus has been in operation since 2008 and supplies harm reduction products to various health organisations, needle and syringe programs and individuals throughout Australia. We import products from French company Apothicom and Sterifilt® is listed on the ARTG (Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods). Our aim is to help reduce injecting drug-use related harms by providing a low-cost single-use syringe filter that discourages PWIDs (People Who Inject Drugs) from sharing or re-using filters. Reduced sharing and re-use of injecting equipment may help reduce blood-borne virus transmission and bacterial infections. By removing harmful insoluble materials from drug mixes, Sterifilt® helps prevent infections and damage to veins and capillaries.
