SteriAus is the Australian distributor for Apothicom Harm Reduction products® in Australia.
We have been in operation since 2008 and are a wholesale supplier to various health organisations and needle and syringe programs throughout Australia.
Our products are imported from France through Apothicom, our parent company, and Sterifilt® is listed on the ARTG (Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods).
Our aim is to help reduce injecting drug-use related harms by providing a low cost single-use syringe filter that discourages PWIDs (People Who Inject Drugs) from sharing or re-using filters. Reduced sharing and re-use of injecting equipment may help reduce blood-borne virus transmission and bacterial infections. By removing harmful insoluble materials from drug mixes, Sterifilt® helps prevent infections and damage to veins and capillaries. We operate throughout the entire year and are available via phone or email seven days a week.
